Once you've been diagnosed with herpes simplex, you can get treatment with aciclovir cream (Zovirax) from the pharmacy of your choice. The Zovirax Cream should not be used with benzodiazepines. It is also not recommended to use acyclovir (Zovirax) cream with benzodiazepines. propoxyphene (Phenylpropoxyphene) and propason (Propason) are antiviral drugs that have been approved by the FDA for treating herpes simplex infections. They are also used to treat cold sores, genital herpes and any blisters in the mouth, eyes and skin. Zovirax Duo HCG Oral Suspension 1 g / 5ml

Ask your GP or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine if you have:

  • been diagnosed with cold sores or shingles;
  • had a recent episode of recurrent shingles (in the past 14 days);
  • had a recent episode of abdominal pain with the use of aciclovir (1 g);
  • been diagnosed with herpes simplex virus type 1 or 2;
  • had a recent episode of recurrent genital herpes or varicella-zoster (chickenpox);
  • been diagnosed with shingles (chancroid).

Do not use Zovirax Duo HCG Oral Suspension 1 g / 5ml if you have:

  • been diagnosed with shingles, or chickenpox;
  • a recent history of chickenpox, or a history of chickenpox
  • a history of recurrent genital herpes or varicella;
  • been diagnosed with herpes simplex virus type 1 or 2. For these reasons, do not use Zovirax Duo HCG Oral Suspension 1 g / 5ml in combination with aciclovir or valaciclovir.

If you have not yet received your Zovirax Duo HCG Oral Suspension 1 g / 5ml prescription, you must answer the following questions to inform your GP or pharmacist of your treatment:

  • If you are to be started on an oral antiviral medication for shingles, or for chickenpox, or for herpes, tell your doctor or pharmacist before you are started on aciclovir or valaciclovir.

Your GP or pharmacist will give you the list of antiviral medications. You will be asked to answer questions about them so that your GP, pharmacist or nurse can check on them.

If you do not know why you have been prescribed Zovirax Duo HCG Oral Suspension 1 g / 5ml, ask your doctor or pharmacist.You may have side effects or notice changes in your usual medical condition, such as:

  • diarrhoea;
  • loss of appetite or weight loss;
  • mucocutaneous candidiasis;
  • skin rash;
  • trouble swallowing.

If you do not know what to do, your pharmacist will know. They will give you a list of the medicines that you need to take as directed.

Do not give this medicine to anyone else, even if their symptoms are similar to yours.It will not do if they are not taking any other medication that they have been prescribed.

If you have not heard of anyone else using Zovirax Duo HCG Oral Suspension 1 g / 5ml, tell your pharmacist or doctor.He may ask you to stop using this medicine.

Do not give Zovirax Duo HCG Oral Suspension 1 g / 5ml to anyone who has not been diagnosed with shingles, chickenpox, herpes simplex virus type 1 or 2, chickenpox, or chickenpox.If your doctor has asked you to stop using this medicine, do so because your body is fighting against you.
